Name: Rosalyn-Jane "RJ" McLean
Age: Sixteen
Hair: Dirty-blonde, cut short with layers at the back and a side fringe.
Eyes: A dull, faded teal.
Birthdate: 8th of September
Physical Apperance: Very pale and scrawny, usually seen with dark bags underneath her eyes. Also two scars on the left side of her face from a car crash she was involved in.
Likes: Video games, cartoons, the rain, baggy clothes, noodles, tight spaces, gore, The Harem, her dad, lolworthy things on the internet, ghosts.
Hates: Mobile phones, religon, open spaces, healthy food, exercise, bright lights, furniture, deep water, heights.
Personality: RJ is a very obnoxious individual. She is extremely self-centred, believing it’s her way or the high way. She’s very stubborn- and hardly ever let’s anyone push her around or tell her what to do. She also hates being wrong, but will stick to her opinion, so it’s very hard to change her mind once it’s made up. RJ is also mistaken for a boy an awful lot, but she's grown used to this and usually plays along with them.

RJ has a poor attitude towards anyone that isn’t her friend Kevin or her Dad. If you crack through her obnoxious persona- she is actually a real daddy’s girl underneath, despite the fact she walks all over him to get her own way.

She is also fairly reclusive- getting grouchy if she doesn’t have her internet or games consoles to entertain herself. When asked what she wants to do with her life, she replies ‘nothing at all’.

Although she can be realist in some situations, other times her stubborn attitude prevents her from getting through certain events, but she will insist on going all the way. RJ’s foul mouth and horrible manners often get her into trouble with her elders. If someone gets on her wrong side or threatens her friends- she will openly challenge the foe in question, even if she knows she is no match for them.

She also has the bad habit of talking to herself in the middle of conversation, but she doesn’t really care who hears most of the time, acting as if her little conversations with herself never happened.

Overall- RJ is difficult to get along with due to her lack of enthusiasm towards meeting new people and her painfully blunt way of telling things. She treats strangers coldly as she is extremely loyal to the few friends she already has and feels no need to simply ‘replace them’.

History: RJ was born to Brian and Lorraine in the back of a broken down ambulance on the evening of the 8th of September and for three years, she lived the life of a perfectly normal child. Eventually her parents divorced, but this didn’t really mean much to her- as she was too young to understand what was going on. She made visits to her Mother’s house every second weekend.

When she reached the age of thirteen, she grew rebellious as all teenagers do. RJ suddenly made the decision that she was not going to return to school- and since her Dad is a push over; his weak protests had no affect on her what so ever.

For two years, RJ merely stayed at home and found entertainment in the form of video games and also indulged in eating nothing but noodles and drinking tea. Her poor and restricted diet took its toll on her- she grew paler, thinner and rather spotty around the shoulders.

Now fifteen years old- her new way of life has put strain on all of her friendships, as she hardly ever ventures out the house unless it is to go and buy something for herself. Her best friend, Kevin has always tried to keep their friendship alive, but eventually she unintentionally snapped at him. She arrives in Purgatorium just after leaving his house, but can't remember exactly what happened before hand.

After returning home from Purgatorium, RJ woke up to find herself in a hospital bed. She was told that whilst crossing the street, she had been knocked down by a car and had been in a coma for months. RJ told her father and friends about her time in purgatory, but her tales of video-game characters and the strange events that went on there fell on deaf ears.

Convinced that it was merely a very long and very strange dream, RJ continued with life. However, there were clear changes in her personality that purgatory enforced. She decided to go back to school, even though she struggled most of the time. And she has also grew a tiny bit more accepting of other people.

Still, she felt a connection to everyone fictional she had met, but kept quiet due to the fact she didn't want to be considered crazy. She returns to Purgatorium a year after she left.
